Last Saturday I photographed the annual Cancer Research Charity ball at Heaton House Farm, organised majoritvly by Biddulph Moor Friends Of Cancer Research. Every year it is wonderful and themed differently. It is a date I always look forward to! This year was no exception with a fantastic Carnival In Rio theme…
Guests entered through the rainforest full of sound effects and a real stone waterfall, past snakes, fruit bats, spiders and parrots . They then battled through the vines onto Copacabana beach where the steel band played on the real sand !! They ate canapés by Vanilla in Allseasons and were entertained -much to the men’s delight by Samba Livre dancers and stilt walkers from Kookiface Entertainment. Guests then went to Rio and sat under sugarloaf mountain with moving cable cars under the watchful eye of Christ The Redeemer. The tables were beautifully decorated with tropical flowers from Red Floral Architecture! After eating a gorgeous four course meal from Vanilla In Allseasons and a auction, the night was then danced away to the sound of DJ Krissi B
