When I am not doing wedding photography, I like to stay fresh with creative shoots and for far too long I have wanted to do a candy styled shoot… and I finally got around to doing it! I approached various suppliers and together with them we did this shoot! I loved every minute of it. The shoot took place at the Asylum Studios in Manchester which proved to be a fab location! Our gorgeous model, Samantha Gregmar, who came all the way from Hull, Yorkshire, was an absolute trooper and was just perfect for the job. She is such a professional! All hair and make up was done by my super lovely and very talented auntie Victoria! Samantha wore a gorgeous dress provided by 7th Heaven Bridal who are based in Congleton. Helen, the owner is so lovely so if you’re in need of a wedding dress, be sure to pop in! The stunning sweetie bouquet was designed and created by the fabulous Heidi from Glorious Tiaras, based in Macclesfield. I spoke to Heidi and without saying much, she produced exactly what was in my head and so for that, I can’t thank her enough! All of the sweets were bought from Selfridges and Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe. They looked so yummy and I was dying to eat them before we even did the shoot! I don’t like liquorice allsorts though so making the waist belt for Samantha to wear wasn’t too much of a problem! The huge balloons were bought from Balloon Ur Room based in Stockport. Finally, the roller skates were borrowed from the lovely ladies who run Roller Jems, also based in Stockport.
